Senior Vice President of Client Services
At Bright Light Marketing, Wally Zimmermann leads the Client Services division and provides strategic advice to clients; serves as an expert counsel on effective communication with media organizations; develops best practices in crisis situations; and conducts media coaching. He brings 35 years of experience in broadcast news production and management to Bright Light Marketing.
Prior to joining Bright Light Marketing, he served as executive producer and news director at KHON-TV/Fox affiliate; vice president/news for KITV Television/ABC affiliate; and news director for WLUK-TV/ABC affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin and WDIV-TV/NBC affiliate in Detroit. Zimmermann also worked as a network field producer for both ABC News and NBC News and as a producer for Paul Harvey News and Comment and ABC Radio News.
Zimmermann served as director of communications for the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He has taught journalism courses at the University of Missouri at Columbia and served as a panelist and speaker for community organizations and journalism forums and judged awards for national regional broadcast news competitions. He is a member of Women in Transportation.
